What is Contemplative Ministry?

Under the umbrella of Spiritual Formation we offer the following programs and events from September 2008 to June 2009:
  • Morning Reflections
  • Men's Spiritual Journey Group
  • Women's Spiritual Journey Groups
  • Advent Preparation Retreat
  • Contemplative Winter Retreat
  • Summer Garden Retreat

We believe that Contemplative Practices:

            ...are essential for our life
...encourage a person to slow down
...bring solace in times of trouble
...enable a person to listen to God
           ...deepen our prayer life
           ...nurture a sense of community
...lead to action and service following Jesus
           ...promote an experience of wonder
           ...inspire artistic responses
...are sacred practices that nourish our faith
