Who We Are

Lafayette Orinda Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and part of the San Francisco Presbytery. First and foremost, however, we are a Christian church, and within the broad scope of Christian churches, we are part of the Reformed Tradition.

There is a wide range of diversity among Presbyterian churches in the United States. LOPC has developed a vision statement which further explains who we are and what we believe God is calling us to be. This statement has been used to develop mission and value statements.

While this information may be helpful to you in understand who we are as a church, we also offer several brief testimonies for you to consider. Please visit the Home Page and view the short videos where we discuss five areas of life at LOPC. Most importantly, we invite you to worship with us and get a sense in person of who we are as part of God's great family of faith.
